This friends and family compound sits on a cliffside 100 ft directly over Lake Travis and overlooking Muleshoe Bend. Outdoor living is the primary focus of the project in order to fit the nature and lifestyle of the clients. Large expansive glass panels that pocket back into the walls create blurred lines between interior and exterior spaces. The linear house form, along with glazing on both sides, invite the adjacent garden spaces and views of the lake and countryside back into the house. This form also creates a rear courtyard that can be used for various activities for children and guests.
