Turner’s office has become both a showcase of their craft, while also demonstrating their strong, renewed presence in the Denver construction market.
It’s not often that designers have the chance to design office space for the people that are usually the ones making their designs a reality. In this unique project opportunity, we teamed with Turner Construction to create a thoughtfully-detailed and constructed office space in a historic building. Located in the hip, vibrant Lower Downtown District of Denver, the client’s office has become both a showcase of their craft, while also demonstrating their strong, renewed presence in the Denver construction market.
Based on a close collaboration and working relationship, we were able to work with Turner to turn a tight budget into a strong conceptual design driver. Given the relatively raw conditions of the building, much of the budget was allocated to redesigning the HVAC and electrical systems. New, streamlined conduit carefully composed in the ceiling now adds a new layer of design to a space that reinforces how almost anything raw can be transformed into something both refined and “designed.”
