Located on the outskirts of Istanbul, in the Tübitak Marmara Research Center Zone, this building serves as the Research, Development and Technology Centre for Turkcell, a private telecommunications company in Turkey. Having taken into consideration the site context, views and orientation, the design provides a single entrance rising to four storeys on the east facing office side. Not only a technological center in name, the building itself exhibits high technological standards. During the design process, special attention was paid to ensure the finished structure would be low on energy consumption. The building therefore exhibits not only style, but also meets high technological and environmental demands.
