The 6000-sqm TUMO Park is an outdoor extension to the TUMO Center for Creative Technologies in Yerevan, Armenia. The project connects the TUMO building to an existing public municipal park through a plaza that currently surrounds a fountain built during the soviet era. The concentric setting of the fountain dictates the radial shape of the lower plateau. The plaza materializes through a geometrical three-dimensional abstraction of the existing topography by connecting the abstracted vertices, forming inclined triangular solid planes. The new landscape consists of variations of oblique surfaces and includes epoxy-painted concrete facets, grass, decks, and water beds, among other elements.
