// Design statement:
" Souls are an enigma. They represent death and life. They are a symbol of departure and arrival. They give us sorrow and hope. They mark presence and absence. Should souls to be embodied physical entities, it should be manifested through both gloomy and joyful gesture. 298 identical cubics are elevated far away from the ground representing each victim that has gone perished in the tragedy. In a memorial that is at the heart of The Netherlands, the eurhythmic colorful texture of tulips symbolizes different souls which cast the same shadow on the memorial ground.
At that very moment, 4:15pm in every 17th July each year, the shadows will naturally form an agrregrate of a plane shape entity facing towards the direction of Kuala Lumpur, the
destination it never reached."
