This project of cultural and environmental use is part of the Bogotá Botanical Garden. It contains samples of ecosystems of Subtropical zones that are under threat in the Colombian territory. It is part of a project called "Biodiversity Nodes" which seeks to establish a model for research, social appropriation, and harnessing of the ecosystem services of the capital region.

The main objective is to create a space with high educational potential through a proposal in architectural form that seeks to integrate into its context criteria based on bioclimatic efficiency and minimum energy consumption. It is funded with public resources by the Department of Science, Technology, and Innovation
