While working on the project in the hillside near Tbilisi, Georgia the main objective was to deal with complex topography without large retaining walls, so that the terrain is not distorted and the house is organically inscribed with it and at the same time create a flat yard.
Solution method is geometric triangulation, when dividing a plane into triangles it becomes more dynamic and compliant.
Similar to nearby rocky outcrops, the openly left tone of lightly colored concrete warms the brutal aesthetics, which emphasizes a variety of plastics which the concrete frame of the building took with the help of this geometry.
As in the famous fable about the elephant and the blind men, this house has different shapes in different places. Some places are thin and resemble a trampoline, some places are spread out like a meadow.
The project perfectly matches the wishes of clients to merge and synthesize all possibilities given by terrain and find golden intersection between all achievable architectural decisions.
