Conceived as a continuous loop of discovery, the Treehouse School reimagines education as an immersive experience within nature. Organized in a circular form, the design creates a central open courtyard anchored by a preserved tree — the symbolic and spatial heart of the project — around which all learning spaces revolve.
Elevated lightly above the ground, the structure minimizes its ecological footprint while allowing the landscape to flow uninterrupted beneath it. Classrooms are arranged as modular pods along the circular ring, connected by shaded walkways that encourage movement, interaction, and informal learning between spaces. This fluid circulation transforms corridors into active zones of engagement rather than mere transition.
Natural materials such as timber and bamboo define the architectural language, reinforcing a tactile and sensory connection to the environment. Openings are carefully positioned to maximize daylight, cross ventilation, and framed views of the surrounding canopy, creating a learning atmosphere that is both calming and stimulating.
The circular geometry fosters a sense of inclusivity and community, eliminating hierarchies and placing equal emphasis on every learning space. More than a school, the project becomes a living ecosystem — where architecture, landscape, and education merge into a holistic environment that nurtures curiosity, creativity, and collective growth.
