The project was set to a unifying concept of the overall design for the area. Its potential can be fully expressed in a general reshaping of the program that integrates paths, allowing greater permeability from outside the three areas for a reappropriation of space and a full enjoyment of the functions provided for the citizens. The different functions are easily recognized as constituent elements of an organic network, in which floors, furniture, materials and water play a role in the characterization of the space by a unique formal language. Consequently, the proposed project has been built on two strong longitudinal signs, resulting from the analysis of the urban fabric: the first coincides with the axis of historical Corso Martiri della Libertà, the second with the front of the Remmert area. The two strong signs constitute the warp and weft of the unifying fabric, highlighted here and there with special functions, or "softly" designed to insert it on the existing schedule. The connotation of the areas is achieved through the use of materials of the building culture of Piemonte. The usability will also be supported by extrior furnituresand thematic illustrative panels, in particular to the proposed "ecological corridor".The project for the green was based on the analysis and the study of what exists, on the protective operations of what is considered important to maintain respect for the historical and social context, the design of spaces with plants, shrubs and herbs chosen depending on the color and scent of flowers and shades of green of leaves. The key issue is the "play of colors" of plants and flowers chosen. The interventions relative to the green, overall, have been designed in compliance with the naturalness of the area, according to criteria which meet the cost management and environmental resistance, but were designed also in relation to the desire to enhance the secular plants present in some spaces, in order to free up some views and prepare visuals that emphasize the beauty and importance of certain trees. For maintenance have been put forward several proposals, the "participatory planning", separate maintenance, the management of areas in "partnership".
