Located on a site of 1700 m² with panoramic views to surrounding villages and Beirut.
The Design Concept is to provide fragmented village like volumes anchored around the main central stairs that act as a vertical spine connecting the three levels of galleries, each of which serve the floors as such; the upper level for the Bedroom suites, then the roof with a lookout deck.
The Main floor level contains: a large vestibule, a gallery flanked by the central stair lit well, a side elevator, the reception salon, the curved central living room with sweeping large windows directed to the city views, a Formal kitchen/ breakfast area that connects to the formal dining room via the kitchen pantry, and finally a private visitors bedroom suit towards the end.
The basement floor level contains: the Family room with a direct view to the lower courtyard, the gym/lap pool area, a Turkish bath accessible from the gym or the central stair Gallery, and the Maids and services. This basement floor is accessible as well via an exterior ramp connecting it with the main lower courtyard.
The architectural language for the house is another reminiscent example of "acculturated Mediterranean Tuscany houses” with simple soft cut natural limestone cladding, painted off white double glazed windows, vaulted zinc roofs and red tile hipped roof combination, wood /steel pergolas, exterior glass steel greenhouse, local landscaped terraces, and a cut out carved parking as carport located beneath the exterior sloppy terrace adjacent to the frontal courtyard.
