The project deals with the renovation of a 55 m2 apartment in Thessaloniki. The main design target is the creation of a contemporary and functional space with a sense of intimacy.
Clean-cut lines shape the context in which the units of living room, dining room and kitchen are laid out in an open plan space.
A centrally placed corridor connects the living room with two bedrooms and a bathroom. The creation of a common design identity in the apartment was a basic synthetic element. White tones in combination with pale green shades give a sense of serenity and both interact with the boho style decoration.
Oak wood textures both on the floor and furniture as well as white tone brick coatings give a special feeling of coziness, intensifying on parallel, the apartment’s urban identity.
Finally, the combination of both natural and artificial lighting showcases all the apartment’s spaces. Hidden lighting and spotlights intensify the warm sense while a centrally placed neon light quote completes the overall modern aesthetics.
