Through the wall1º Prize Competition - Hormipresa, COAC.The disposition of this “thick” wall allows to organise, arrange the spaces and accomodate all the installation elements of the house. It’s also a facade that goes through the inhabitable space, allowing to congregate the spaces in parallel lines, allowing a more versatile interior. This achieves to create of private (bedrooms and study) and public (lounge and kitchen) modules. It generates a filter, an ambiguous space between the interior spaces and exterior yard that allows these to connect. This is a limit that surges from the exterior to be introduced into the interior space. This wall is extended because there is also a need to create exterior spaces (garage), letting the surroundings unite the interior and the exterior.This implemented wall, gives more constructive flexibility to the compound, and improves the construction system of Hormipresa. Consequently, the corridors disappear and the bathroom is a unit that can be segregated and used at the same time, depending on the inhabitants.The wall as an axis, is the main configurating element of the house. Therefore, the generated flexible spaces adapt to the needs of the client. This allows to fewer structural elements, creating clearer spaces.
