Through a meticolous urban woven’s seam, the project has the main goal
to create the beginning of a long series of mutations to replace the
actual urban reality with a new city’s order, privileging difference and
diversity like territory’s values. An idea of project that overturns
the actual urban order producing new city’s images which underline its
complexity. An idea of project against the universal that produces
differences in the global space.Starting from a critic analysis of the woven’s stratification and of the
urban becoming the poject wants create the conditions for a city’s
metamorphosis. The main approach to design is to consider the layers of
physical and cultural archeologies, not just the obvious context and
program of the costruction.The project consist in a urban connective woven which uses the grids as
main planning’s instrument.
3 different possible seams create a multiscale context, denying the
antropocentric obsession for the human scale. Every seam constitutes an
indipendent system, a text, that conserve the differences and refuses
every process of perfect integration with other systems.The project faces the problem of the public space. The area is
transformated in space on connections and relations. The green park sews
parts actually disconnected of the neighbourhood, guaranteeing the
access to the building from any directions.
The building, heart of the project, contains the functions of library,
space for expositions, and more in general cultural center. The
obiective to give a wide public green surface to the city is realized
projecting an underground parking.
