TRANSPARENT FACTORY DESIGN: The direct effects of permeabilty between spaces to the business life..

Alce Insulator Factory Istanbul is a project containing production and office units that is located on 3000 m2 indoor area. This is the first working program to form a new institutional identity to the firm that produces and exports transformers and insulators to 40 different countries.

Factories main building is a conventional prefabricated building and it is available for industrial production. As the building isn't the real estate of the Alce ,the production area and the storage area are designed due to industrial efficiency but permanent solutions.
The purpose of structured design of office and the welcoming area is to create a new structure which helps the employees raise their efficiency, to equalize the link between the managers and the employees.

In order not to abstract from each other visually and to be integrated, firstly the machines are located on the production area. Then the zone which was used as a showroom next to the management office, is redesigned with a glass wall as a overhang through the production area. And finally all the offices aspects which are upstairs looking at the side of production zone, are totally remained with a transparent design. And the stairs are constracted as a delicate and elegant shaping idea. During the construction the factories forward rate of growth is also taken into consideration.

Accordance in spatial scenario the nature stone is used with the harmony of steel and glass ,opposing industrial stiff. Burnished floor with basalt stone walls, natural slate stone with an innovative approach flex-stone used a derivative of separated fibers.2 mm thick, extremely lightweight, occurrence of large-sized, flexible and whatever is massive compared to the same stone has a very large applications and ease of design. Double-sided concave curved surface at the entrance to the creation of influence in the formation got the most suitable material.

It is design-oriented and we are in process investigating of details to be tried. We do not accept architecture only about design or applications, we accept architecture holistically .We have different perspective and esthetic and this is the reason why all problems were easily coped in. As well as these problems brought advantages to design.

The response of how to break covered indoor and independent structures of office area and factory production which is habitual spatially. The question how we can do ,helped us to figure out in the fabric which must begin to produce affectively, strongly and it helped us to prefer innovative interactions.
