The project is a venue design for 21_21 DISIGN SIGHT's special exhibition "Translations Exhibition-Let's understand" Understanding "". The director of the exhibition is Dominick Chen. In the project the hall is regarded as a forest for various communication activities e.g. translation. The viewers wander among randomly placed triangular prisms. The space is loosely divided into zones according to the theme of the exhibit, but since there are various ways to explore it, the viewer can freely go back and forth in the venue and take his own route. The aim is to trace that experience and reconstruct it in one's own way. Each triangular prism is colored differently according to the direction in which each side is facing in relation to the pale color wheel. The entire venue is dyed with different tones depending on the viewing direction. The background tone of the group is gradually changing as the viewer moves, what creates an active dialogue with the space. This is an attempt to spatially "translate" changes due to differences in perspectives such as culture and society inherent in translation.
