Imagine a design where the ideas of serenity and luxury converge to create a residence which is elegant and timeless at the same time. This is the story of “The Tranquil Manor” where the essence of tranquility captures attention, serving as a focal point in the design. Crafted by the visionary team of Design Essence, the residence sprawls across 800 sq. yards, with defined zoning while meeting the requirements of the occupants. “We were asked to design a house which was elegant, beautiful, and timeless at the same time. A design which is never seen before!”, says Founder, Jasleen Chalotra. Each space is carefully curated, blending state-of-the-art elements with a design style that captivates the senses. From the bespoke elements in the living room to the plush bed designs, every space led to a beautiful design.
The design celebrated the concept of luxury in every step, following the idea of the minimal and modern design ethos. With thoughtful space planning, the residence comprised a living room, a dining area, a lounge area, and three bedrooms. Every space artfully integrated the idea of minimalism in design. The living areas evoked opulence with plush sofas and velvet upholstery, imbuing a sense of luxury. It followed a neutral colour palette with leather and velvet upholstery. The sheen and sleek design further contributed to a contemporary language. Expansive glass windows basked the space with natural light and created an airy atmosphere. A chic glass statement fixture atop cast a warm glow while adding a sense of contrast.
Transitioning towards the recreational areas, the dining area comprised an 8-seater dining table with tufted upholstery. The patterned flooring captivated the eye and juxtaposed the concept of minimalism, while still complementing the space. The brass edges of the dining table and its sleek legs contributed to an elegant look. Further, the lounge area offered relaxation with sumptuous blue sofas and a state-of-the-art television, allowing the residents to unwind in comfort. The space used a series of profile lights in a continuous pattern creating mesmerising design aesthetics. Semi-precious designs along with large pieces were added as accessories to complement the space. A captivating center table with a patterned top elevated the idea of luxury in the space.
The private abodes followed a neutral colour palette and were elegant and timeless. Artfully done wall panelling and integration of bespoke consoles, refined every room with style and beauty. One of the bedrooms followed a muted brown theme with cushioning in the back, offering comfort with style. Sleek consoles with minimal decor elements further create a refined look. The carefully crafted ceiling evokes a sense of height with its coffered look, offering quintessential luxury. The second bedroom emanated a sense of elegance with a large bed-base and curved bespoke side tables. With windows on the sides, the design is confined to a definite layout while offering a sense of luxury.
Moreover, the bathrooms in the residence were the epitome of luxury with state-of-the-art fixtures and warm lighting. Black tiles with minimal veins adorned walls and floors while a vanity offered storage for all essentials. Further, bespoke decor elements in hallways and walls completed the overall design of the residence.
The design was a result of elegance and timeless aesthetics, meeting the preferences of the client. Being a serene home with minimalist luxury and the idea of togetherness, the residence was an example of comfortable and a beautiful design, inviting one to sink in!
