Located in Pacific Heights, this remodel restored a neglected townhouse
through careful observation and meticulous detailing. Virtually every aspect of
the building is rebuilt into a coherent set of rooms, including a live-in
apartment and an entertainment room. Some of the features include, leaded glass
windows, custom chandeliers, mahogany countertops in the bathrooms, museum quality
recessed lighting, and custom millwork profiles throughout. To open up the
spaces and provide light to the middle of the building, skylights were
installed and walls removed. The fifth story upper deck with a view of downtown
is supported by two steel beams spanning the width of the building.
