Working with long-time client the New York Mets and the St. Lucie County Parks & Recreation Department, JLGA designed the renovation and expansion of their 7,000-seat spring training facility in Port St. Lucie, Florida.The stadium, originally constructed in the mid-eighties, was renovated to include a number of new and improved amenities such as picnic terraces, a bermed seating area, expanded offices, locker facilities, a new elevator tower and façade. In addition, the construction of a new suite level located between the existing press level and top seating bowl provides additional private suites and open-air party terraces.A new wet training suite with state-of-the-art HydroWorx aquatic therapy and fitness pools give the Mets the ultimate in aquatic rehabilitation and training for athletes and trainers.
