Built in 1899, this quaint townhouse is located in the West Village on Jane Street. Although it is small in size (only 5 blocks long) by New York City standards, the street has been dubbed by the NY Times as “Authors’ Row”, due to the claim that it is home to more published authors of books per block than any other place in the city.New York Engineers provided a MEP/FP PE consultation for a gut renovation of the townhouse. The home, which is 4 stories, was completely gutted and renovated from a single family home into three units.Principals of New York Engineers performed this project while at previous firms including Joseph R. Loring and Associates and HKA.For more information on this project, please visit us here
