In Treviso in the historical center we made the restoration of this 30/40's building in colonial-fascist style. The restoration considers some suggestions of this style (the use of travertine, a peculiar small monumentality, the use of Carrara marble and concrete) and elaborates them through some Japanese touches (especially in interiors: use of stained glass windows to create defined spaces in continuity). Important, and for this very emphasised, the existing staircase in Carrara marble with the floral wrought iron balustrade by the sculptor Benetton. The building has also been made anti-seismic and completely insulated for a high energy containment.
