KGD developed a design that would capture the family’s unique culture and philosophy. The design team endeavored to create a sophisticated, elegant office while observing the highest standards of sustainability and health. The space conveys a feeling of light and openness, while maintaining privacy and personal space. The office is designed to provide views to outside from almost every occupied space, reflecting the company’s belief that a connection to the outside world should always be evident. Textures, patterns, color and various elements of scale work together in a cohesive manner to create a space that emulates the diversity of the natural environment. The space is arranged with a large open public area to support reception and conferencing functions. The office area is divided, almost equally, into four functional areas:
*Executive and family offices
*Leasing and Construction
*Accounting and Finance
*Property Management
