The Tower Building is an iconic, award winning ten-story, 275,000 SF Class A office building, whose elliptical shape makes it a distinguished landmark in Rockville, Maryland. Located along the I-270 “Tech Corridor” the LEED Silver certified building, occupies 12 acres of the 200-acre Tower Oaks site, as one component of the mixed-use property, purchased by the Abramson Family in 1963. The Tower Building was conceived in 1998, as a premier, speculative office building, incorporating innovative sustainable features. Designed before USBGC LEED® standards. The building’s sustainable achievements received recognition when on June 2, 2009, The Tower Building was awarded LEED Silver certification under USGBC’s LEED for Existing Buildings Green Building Rating System.
