Toro Center is one of the most important projects for us. Because it was full of challenges, but also because it is a modern touch in the urban context, it generously offered us precious experiences. After about 5 years of following how our vision emerges from structures, engineering networks and finishes, now we are seeing our creation almost finished. While you enjoy images, we will tell you something about the project.
Architectural and urban planning concept
We designed Toro Center in harmony with the context as it is located in an important area of the city of Chisinau. We aimed to rehabilitate the area through a project with a new vision. The project creates communication links between the place and the city, establishes a connection between the local and the urban context and becomes an urban core in the generation of opportunities. Through the prism of the user, we created the opportunity to experience this space differently, through a more comfortable formula.
Multifunctionality
Toro Center complex itself unites 10 blocks with different functions. Here we are not talking about residential buildings that have reserved the ground floor as commercial space. In the case of our project, in addition to 7 residential blocks, there is a mall and an office block. Restaurants, SPA, fitness room, shops, offices, pharmacies and even a park on the terrace – all are concentrated in the commercial area of the complex. While being designed, Toro Center was the first complex that involved the intersection of several spaces: commercial, residential, exhibition, recreational and office.
Hybridity
It is part of the company’s philosophy and it is the thing that guarantees that Toro Center will remain up-to-date for a long time. The complex is designed in such a way that over time, there is the possibility of reconfiguring the spaces and changing their destination. Thus, the project gained the ability to adapt to the city, regardless of the context that has been formed.
