TomTom is a Dutch manufacturer of navigational systems with a very young workforce. When they moved into their new administrative building in Leipzig, the furniture was already there, and the walls of the new property could only be moved minimally.
During idea meetings we collected themes for the conference rooms “Berlin” and “New York”. Additional conference rooms – Highlands, Space, Speed, Control Center – were constituted. Appropriate designs, customized furniture, non-straight tables, unusual lamps and carpets, and wallpaper designed by an agency we consulted transformed the rooms into event spaces.
Now, during breaks, “Highlands” is used for playing ping pong on what is the largest conference table in the building.
Water dispenser and coffee maker were incorporated into the break room, which turned it into a comfortable meeting area for the employees. In addition, customized furniture made from particle board and upholstery in various tones of green makes use of the spacious hallways.
