As a forward-thinking division of Taiwan Secom Group, Titan Star Factory is redefining the future of industrial design. Tasked with expanding their production of high-tech security systems, the client challenged us to design not just a larger facility—but a new architectural identity for their next-generation manufacturing hub. The result is a radical departure from the utilitarian
norm of Taiwan’s industrial zones. Inspired by speed and the elegance of advanced technology, the building’s sweeping, aerodynamic facade signals a bold vision for the future of smart factories. The flowing curves—clad in low-pollution, white
aluminum panels—convey precision and motion, turning the factory into a sculptural object in the landscape. Its minimalist character evokes the architectural language of contemporary museums rather than conventional production spaces.
Titan Star Factory's design embodies the client’s transition toward automation and robotics, emphasizing intelligence, clarity, and innovation over brute functionality. Windows are purposefully minimized on the primary elevation to preserve the purity of the form, allowing the building itself to become a monolithic symbol of transformation. The new facility is not only a place of
manufacturing—it is a statement. It speaks of design’s power to elevate industry, challenge stereotypes, and create inspiring environments even within the most pragmatic contexts. Through its refined aesthetic and ambitious vision, the project sets a new benchmark for what a factory can be: a beacon of progress, sustainability, and architectural expression.
The Titan Star Factory comprises four above ground floors and one below - ground level. The first floor includes loading docks, warehouse and storage areas, a quality control room, office spaces with meeting rooms, and a manufacturing area.
The second and third floors feature meeting rooms, worker rest areas, manufacturing spaces, storage, a product testing area,
and a cafeteria. The fourth floor is primarily dedicated to manufacturing and product display. The roof will be largely covered with solar panels.
Titan Star Factory’s design is centered on sustainability. The factory’s expansive rooftop is fitted with high efficiency solar panels, generating clean energy to offset operational demand and reduce the building’s carbon footprint. In tandem, a double - skin facade system enhances passive cooling and ventilation, minimizing heat gain while allowing moisture to drain efficiently during Taiwan’s humid seasons. only reduces reliance on mechanical systems but also improves thermal comfort and energy efficiency year-round. Together, these strategies demonstrate Titan-Star’s commitment to integrating renewable energy and climate - responsive architecture, setting a benchmark for sustainable industrial design in the region.
