This is the first retail store for Tipton Charles, a New York City based company devoted to bath and beauty products. The product line includes more than 500 skews, creating a challenge in terms of display and organization. The store’s organizational approach was inspired by the behavioral patterns of schools of fish where distinct species of fish travel in groups. Applying this strategy to the Tipton Charles product line yielded a relatively seamless organization. A series of open slots within a single walnut surface contain a distinct product series. The slots are organized according to size and number of product.
