Tidesong is the sound on the shores of the brackish May River. Shellfish, songbirds, and pluff mud croak and sing as the tidal river ebbs and flows with dramatically changing views through the day and seasons. A multi-building retreat includes a new home, barn, and guest cottage that connect residents and visitors to the rhythms of nature. The main house has an outdoor carport, lanai, terraces, and pool.
The Barn will be built first and is designed in the spirit of southern rural vernacular. Heavy timber frames support broad and porous eaves that weave within the grove of mature Live Oak trees. A guest cottage is nestled on the outer peninsula connected to the main residence through an elevated walkway.
