In a complex of detached houses, the house retains its exterior aesthetics to combine with different interior spaces. Its nearly 200m2 spread over three floors: a living area on the ground floor, a rest area or night on the top floor and the penthouse

The common idea when designing the renovation of the house was the relationship with the external aesthetics. The living spaces should be modern and cheerful but keeping a classic point, as their owners. Environmentally conscious reinforce the overall insulation which greatly enhanced interior confort.

The living room area has large windows that open to the garden. The classic touches of the fireplace and the bookcase are contrasted with modern furniture and the playground area.

The kitchen should be modern and functional, it is equipped with the latest technologies and cooking equipment . To avoid losing the classical touch we designed a hydraulic mosaic floor that extends to the exterior dinning room area. An mixed space that can be both exterior and interior, open or close, enjoying the garden area.

A renewed staircase leads up to the upper floor. The sloped shape of the roof is reflected in the interior geometry of each room and bathroom giving a bohemian look. The rooms use white color to increase the feeling of space and the flooring are the starring: a magnificent natural parquet in the rooms and some original hydraulic tiled floors in the bathrooms.

The large penthouse is the shelter of the house. An open and continuous space to read, relax and hide from the busy daily activity. A place which becomes an lovely star observatory at night.

An old house has been transformed according to the wishes of its new inhabitants becoming the home of their dreams: a new family and a new story.
