This project attempts to be a tall and unique landmark building by referring to the Helix. It is a spiraled shaft capped with a spherical 'View Pod' observation deck, all rising above a base pavillion.
The Dubai Helix recombines and rescales traditional motifs of filigree and lattice to produce a contemporary towering screen. Above the screen hovers a view pod with a cafe & observation level.
