Through the Looking Glass

Firm
The project derives from two lines of thought. One stems from the idea of viewing and storefront. The second arrives from the objective to use a modular system applied to simple materials - in this case, paper. We extracted from and three-dimesionalized a two-dimensional and created three modules. The stacked modules, laser-cut and flat-packed in New York and installed in Basel, Switzerland, allowed for multiple varieties of assemblages and openings, altering your view through an existing storefront.
