This Chicago office was designed for a newly established investment banking firm. The design intensifies the spatial experience of this 2,000 square foot office in two ways. At the entry, the gypsum ceiling combines with an aluminum wrapped floor and wall to create a “vault like” impression reflecting the stability and permanence of the firm. Upon entry to the office space, elegant free standing workstations and glass partitions open the design visually making the modest office feel large.
