Senior theseis project completed in May 2009. The study of contemporary water use of southwestern suburban cities against the historic bathing culture informed a proposal for a new suburban pool house. Water becomes an integral part of both lifestyle and building systems through the careful control and protection of water throughout the entire site. The proposal also aggregates into new water-conscious suburbia. The project was nominated for The Ronald R. Gourley Award for Design Excellence and archived for inclusion in the U of A College of Architecture AIA accreditation.
