The new, 7,047 sq.m. Senior High School Building houses 28 modern classroom facilities, academic laboratories and support facilities for both student and faculty. The building architecture will promote green energy design through the use of energy efficient lighting and mechanical (ac) fixtures and rain water harvesting. The general orientation of the building will take into consideration solar path and wind flow.
The building’s ground floor will have a large, covered multi-purpose area for students to study, collaborate and dine enhanced with relaxing views of the Student Parkway. Within the same level will be the main clinic and various science laboratories.
Enlarge classrooms will be located at the second and third floor of the building to accommodate different group arrangements for both lecture and collaborative modes of teaching. Modern lighting, acoustics and technology-based equipment were considered in the overall classroom design.
The fourth floor will house the faculty offices and lounges on the east wing and the hotel and restaurant management facilities on the west.
