Located in a Denver industrial district, this 19th century foundry was transformed into a center of food production. The building houses two restaurants, a brewery, and an array of artisan food producers and sellers.

The renovation left the industrial texture of the space intact and on display, including its brick walls and lofty trussed space with natural light and ventilation. To contrast this industrial character, tenant spaces are demised with walls made of exposed light gauge framing with sections that raise and lower at the interior shop fronts. The public enters through a compressed vestibule which serves as an airlock between the outdoors and a vast interior reminiscent of a European market. The clear distinction between new and old highlights the historic structure while serving contemporary uses.
