The shelter " Shanrak".
During thousand years, Central Asia nomads used "Yurt " type house as dwelling. It gave them ideal protect from wind, cold and hot weather of steppes and deserts that region of Earth. Сonnection principles of structure elements lets easily process of assembling and dismantling of "Yurt ". These are assumed as basis of this temporary shelter schematic project.The shelter is designed for Earth hot weather regions using, because it has nice protection from intensive sun light. Field of using this shelter has wide range. For example, It may be use as shelter at agricultural plantations , as temporary dwelling at natural or technogenic disaster places, just as place for rest on nature, as well as it can be interest for people as tourist shelter, etc.
The shelter "Shanrak" consits of next main elements:
1. The fabric membrane.
2. The top connective plasic element - "shanrak".
3. Six bend hollow easymetall alloy frame tubes. L= 2,6m
4.The base of shelter.
5. Two wheels with frames for fixing it.
6. Six L-shape metal pintles .
7.The fabric six angle shape floor.
Description of main elements:
1. The fabric membrane is six segments , are connected in cone shape. It has six narrow sewed sleeves for frame tubes placing. It has second outer fabric layer, with sewed into thin rubber elements. These elements make "sail" shapes by gravitation. There is fabric door with plastic zip-fastener. Membrane has10 fabric belts, 4 with plastic buckles, 6 with metal rings. There are storage fabric pockets inside around.
2. The top connective plastic element has two parts- top and down. The top part has transparent plastic covering and can rotate. For rotate it there is plastic lever there , rotating can be fix by plastic nut on the lever. The top has transportation rope loop. The down part has 6 revolvable cylindrical joints.
3. Six bend hollow frame tubes. L= 2,6m. It serve as shelter shape making.
4.The base of shelter has 6 revolvable plastic joints , connected with 12 hollow tubes and 3 rope links inside hexagon. Each of tubes pare has rubber joint .It let base to has two position - deploy and collect.
The ventilation and cooling.
For ventilation should open top shelter and 5 down sides of membrane. It makes air moving "from side to side" above floor and to up direction also. Outer cooling perform by "sails", organizing natural heat air moving "down-up" inside it. Shelter door side has to be north.
Characteristics:
1. The base hexagon inscribed in the circle r=1600mm. Side lengh -1600mm.
2. The top hexagon inscribed in the circle r=460mm. Side lengh - 460mm.
3. The height -2200 mm. ( Floor- to-bottom connective plastic element )
4. The inner area -6,5 m2.
