A testament to Hamilton’s creative sector-led post-industrial renewal, THE SEEDWORKS is a co-working oasis redefining what it means to live and work in downtown Hamilton. Once home to Tregunno Seeds, the building has been stripped back to reveal handsome 1890s brick and timber beam that benefits from generous natural light.
The three stories of open-plan office space provided by the adaptation are now home to dpai and a host of energetic outfits that are driving the exciting phase-change now sweeping Hamilton’s urban core. Poised adjacent to several main arteries and Hamilton’s first dedicated bike lane, the Seedworks has become a sought-after collaborative workspace and locus for the city’s rising cohort of creative urban professionals.
Together with our partners Historia Restoration, The Seedworks’ mission and values are steadfastly community-driven. The Seedworks is host to Hamilton Social Bicycles and Kitestring Creative. Additionally, The Seedworks sponsors the Hamilton Victory Gardens urban farming initiative, holds the monthly GETTING TO KNOW YOU BETTER (GTKYB) talk series, and our board rooms are available to local non-profit organizations.
All branding and marketing for The Seedworks was conceived and executed by our talented team of designers.
