The idea of the project is to think about Pushkinsky cinema as a building suspended in time, surrounded by magical cloud that makes him the place of dreams, that conveys emotions, and takes us beyond the reality we know.
The restyling project is consist of covering the building with “Red Hot” Corian. The choice of strong visual impacts that enhances greatly the appearance of the building. The windows are made with DuPont SentryGlas Expressions. Above the glass the logo of Mosfilm Studios landmark of Russian cinema will be printed.
The idea of lightness, is given by the cloud created by a structure in Corian Pearl Gray and low-emission glass. An architectural gesture of great impact, that is also a tribute at the utopianism of the avant-garde of the twentieth century in Russia. Characters like the director Dziga Vertov or architect Ivan Leonidov.
This is ambitious project for one of the symbols of Russian culture that needs to be reborn to return back to the center of intellectual life in Moscow.
