Nestled within the heart of Hyderabad, this exquisitely designed apartment redefines upscale contemporary living. Conceptualized as a seamless blend of opulence and global aesthetics, the residence is an expression of minimalist luxury, where bespoke craftsmanship and curated details take centre stage. With an expansive layout encompassing a formal living room, family lounge, dual kitchens, utility spaces, a guest room, a home theatre, a master suite, and two children’s rooms, the layout has been designed for spatial fluidity.
Upon arrival, guests are welcomed into an internal foyer clad in bespoke wood veneers by the renowned Italian brand Tabu. This space sets the tone for the home’s layered spatial journey, gradually unfolding into public and private realms. To the right, the formal living area extends towards a striking wrap-around balcony, lush with verdant landscaping. Within this outdoor retreat, a statement bespoke bar—an aged gold metal sculpture evocative of fabric caught in motion—becomes an artistic and functional centrepiece, embodying the project’s dedication to exclusivity and craftsmanship. The balcony flooring, finished in grey terrazzo tiles imported from Italy, provides a textural contrast to the home’s primary marble flooring.
The flooring, a key element in the home’s aesthetic, follows a Regency-inspired color-blocking pattern. Linear black marble inlays punctuate a luxurious expanse of Armani Grey marble, lending a sense of rhythm and architectural order. This interplay of materials is complemented by a warm, inviting palette. White-painted walls and monolithic gypsum ceilings create a seamless backdrop, allowing the rich wood cladding and plush rugs to imbue the spaces with intimacy and sophistication.
Spatially, the residence is choreographed to unfold in layers, offering a gradual transition from public to private spaces. Beyond the internal foyer, the formal living room and balcony bar to the right establish an immediate connection to hospitality and entertainment. Further in, semi-private zones emerge, with the family lounge and its adjoining balcony positioned opposite the dining space, and the dry kitchen which is anchored by a monolith island table and illuminated by an ensemble of decorative lighting from Flos & Penta. As one ventures deeper, the layout transitions into the private sanctuaries—each uniquely designed to reflect the personalities of its inhabitants.
The master suite is an intimate space of tailored luxury, featuring a Poliform walk-in wardrobe with dedicated his-and-hers sections, centered around an elegant island. The children’s rooms introduce playful individual identities—one imbued with soft blush tones for the daughter, the other articulated in cool blues for the son—creating spaces that resonate with personal comfort and charm.
A curated selection of Italian furniture from Minotti, Baxter, Turri, Poliform, and Cattelan Italia amongst others complement the contemporary metal artworks from Mumbai-based Atelier Nitush & Arush, the fabric stitched art by Sarita Handa and a medley of other art that infuse a distinct artistic character, enhancing the dialogue between materiality and form.
Lighting, integral to the home’s atmosphere, is meticulously orchestrated to preserve the purity of the ceiling design. Recessed technical lights with minimal perforations ensure an almost invisible presence when turned off, while decorative fixtures punctuate key areas, adding layers of warmth and depth.
Designed from the slab level up, this residence provided a rare opportunity for complete spatial control, allowing every element to be meticulously crafted to suit the vision. The result is a sophisticated yet inviting home—an embodiment of contemporary luxury where every detail, from a sculptural balcony bar to custom-stitched wood veneer, speaks to a level of design precision and artistry.
