Metaphorically, the project is intended to be a symbol on the Yuyuantan park,
a tall mountain broken by flowing rivers. With a skin of ventilated
ceramic panels and top to bottom “rivers” of curtain wall, the design
attempts to reduce the effects of the high density blocks. The facades
are articulated according to a numerical system of proportions and
harmony where every part is related to the whole. The glass curtain wall
protruding into the sky hides the jacuzzis
from where the residents enjoy a sense of luxury, unique in west
Beijing. The ground floor of the three “mountains” features spacious
high-ceilings with elegant lobbies and halls where guests and residents
can meet in comfortable living rooms. White marble wraps the entrance
spaces. Materials such as red ceramic tile, stainless steel, brass, glass, marble and wood are combined in a harmonious interplay to provide variations in this unique luxury living experience.
