The Preserve K8 School was a collaborative effort between the Chino Valley Unified School District, Lewis Operating Corporation and PJHM Architects to develop a “community center”. The campus includes a joint-use gymnasium/performance center with outdoor amphitheater, joint-use library, community park and on-site community center. The architecture was dictated by the master developer’s theme. This school accommodates 1,000 K-8 students on a multi-track year-round schedule. It includes a 12.86 - acre school site and an 8 - acre community park, two 12 classroom wings and one 8 classroom wing that include teacher workrooms and shared small group instruction spaces.. We are extremely proud, as is the developer, of how frequently the facility is used “after hours”.
