“Minimal Japanese living with the hint of Esan”
Designing base on the minimal of Japanese living and the sense of Esan culture referring to Northeast region of Thailand. With the timeless minimal space together with the suitable arrangement of function touched with the exceptional materials and elements. This place has been created especially for a young adult who wants to live within range near their university.
The green pockets are splashed around the place. Not only on the flat ground by horizontal but also stacking the green space up at multi-axis to meet the upper levels. The surprising viewpoint were created at every level changed making the space more expanded.
To make a statement, the lively part that stands out in the landscape design was the Esan style details such as design pattern, grid arrangement as well as the hot color tone. Beyond that the user also can create the space as they wish to discover, to re-arrange or to explore from time to time.
Our outdoor landscape can be viewed from inside the building and the user who standing in the landscape can also be look in and connected to the inside. The privacy still remained as we open up the space only the part that we should and enclose where we needed to. The outdoor function spaces are simply and has been weaved together such as function lawn, pavilions, study corner, terraced step gardens and a swimming pool. The roof garden is another special overlooking deck where the user can enjoy sky outdoor theater, amphitheater, sky lounge and the individual pods which are surrounded by the greens.
