The Oasis will thrive on an extensive program of hospitality, culinary, sporting, business and cultural events taking full advantage of the center’s contemporary design integrating food, shopping and entertainment with the central plazas, streetscape and amenities. The Oasis’s aesthetic will be an eclectic mix of contemporary and traditional forms utilizing both locally sourced materials and the latest building practices.
The building façades will be grounded in the design elements familiar to the region, reflecting its past, present and future industries. A layer of architectural accouterment will give the buildings an appropriate human scale. As important as the building architecture, the public spaces, i.e. sidewalks, streets, parks etc., will reflect the right combination of landscape and hardscape detail that will compliment the building architecture.
