For the occasion of Milano Design Week 2016, 10 progressive contemporary designers join Nike to explore Natural Motion though various mediums. Some works are conceptual — foreshadowing future technologies — and others practical. In many cases, materials unique to Nike, such as Flyknit, have been applied.
The temporary exhibit created within an old lightbulb factory in Milan; utilizes as its structure thousands of stacked shoeboxes to create a flowing gallery of installations. Past, present and future Nike innovations are displayed through a series of innovative installation and complimented by works from various artists and designers on the nature of motion.
