The Muraka villa at Conrad Maldives which consists of a 700 sq.m. overwater suite and an one-of-a-kind 100 sq.m underwater suite. For the underwater suite, more than 75% of wall and ceiling surfaces are made of clear acrylic. The glare and reflection on clear acrylic had to be minimized and views to the ocean had to be secured. All walls in the bedroom are upholstered with dark brown leather and floor is covered with silk carpet to reduce the reverberation of the acrylic.
