Exploration of small scale architectural solutions to climatic conditions. the studio produced prototypical design of a 'smallest-possible habitable unit' that offer a temporary living space for up to 2 hikers and researchers. The process involved using structural engineering and sustainable architectural elements to produce a shelter within strict design constraints such as minimum envelope exposure, lightweight structure and adherence to the limits of remote transportation. In parallel, this concept will take into consideration of large-scale aggregation to respond the possible harsh climate in the future.
