“Là tout n’est qu’ordre et beauté, luxe calme et volupté”
Invitation au voyage,

If the real concept of a Spa
is dedicated to the relaxation, the further Spa in Dubaï is ensuring that all
the clients will live a never be forgotten experience in the waterborne structure
enjoying at the same time marine, submarine and aerial benefits.
Cyril Peret Paglinghi as the
original creator of the melt concept commits ASAA-SAM to think about this
concept and design it. From this association, the Melt appears.
An
Innovative Concept
The Spa is a satellite, a
half-submarine structure which match perfectly with the geographic zone :
Dubaî, futurist city located between desert and sea, orientated to the luxury
tourism opened on the Persian bay. From this starting point, using the littoral
as an architectural support appears as a piece of evidence in this project.
At the same time, considering
the situation and the further client, the Spa will have manifold access: by the
sea, the ground and the air (harbour / heliport/ footbridge). In this
perspective, everyone will appropriate the space as they want, in complete
freedom. The Spa is a real meeting point, like an off-shore platform open to
the world.
The Spa’s particularity is
its mobility. In fact, having in mind the structure optimisation, it obviously
appears that it has to be multipliable and modulable depending of the client
wishes. Then it is possible to think that the Spa would move on the Dubaï
coast. We can even think that the Spa will be attached one day in Dubaî, the
next day in Abû Dhabi etc. Of course, we can easily see one of those modules in
the Mediterranean Sea area for example Monaco
or Ibiza.
The
Dry Spa, a Strong personality
If the high technology
including in this concept is far from the 19th baudlairian century,
the creation of this coolness oasis provides everything that a wild and
luxuriant island can offer.
In fact, peace and beauty are
materialised by the cascade and outdoor terrace when the luxury is represented
by the relaxation area and the gastronomic restaurant. All those gathering
components participate to create the “real pleasure” for everyone enter in this
place.
The Spa is a real innovation
both by the possibility it offers to change location as the owner want and by
its internal organisation which favour 360° vertical height instead of
horizontality and limited vision.
This Spa is unique since it
embodies all the values that a Spa has to present. It’s not only a place to be,
it’s a place to live which provokes sensation and emotion by the simple fact
that it exists. It is by it self a relaxing and soothing place proposing high
standard services letting the choice to the customer to feel at ease wherever
he wants.
