Internal refurbishment for a 1870s property in Betchworth. The concept was to create transparency across the floor plate at both ground and first floor plan.
The property was previously a double height space billiard hall which over the years had been split into multiple rooms and levels.
The design opened the home.
It removed heavy walls at ground floor to create an open plan kitchen and living space.
It opened up the master bedroom to a beautiful double height space and window to allow for natural daylight to flood the dining and bedroom spaces.
It removed the loft and increased the heights of the first floor to create a wide and spacious feel.
