Two slender and transparent point towers, each 28 storeys, set back from the street edge and sitting on a podium that is part three and part four storeys. The extension of floor slabs and shear walls dividing the units in each floor, punches through the glazing of the facade, creating a random play of frames. To play with the observer’s intuition, a continuous maze like red line walks its way on each and every facade. It starts from one side of the buildings main entrance and finishes on the other side of it. In a city council meeting, Mayor Bonnie Crombie, then city Councillor, made a remark that “the city of Mississauga needs more of these sexy buildings”.
The ground floor contains commercial spaces and the entire fourth floor of each building is dedicated to indoor amenity areas which connect to the roof of the podium for outdoor roof gardens as outdoor amenity.
