The Mark, situated in the heard of San Diego's East Village district, is a 33 level luxury condominium complex containing 244 one, two, and three bedroom units as well as an expansive 3,500 square foot, two level penthouse shell. d.coop's residential component was hired in 2010 to design a spec apartment within the concrete and glass shell. Comprising three bedrooms including a sprawling 33rd floor master suite, three and a half baths, a gallery, study with open fireplaces and an expansive great room, the design was meant to convey the potential that came with the unit's $5mil US price tag. In addition to the 32/33 floor penthouse, d.coop also provided designs for several one bedrooms units, a conceptual design for a secondary penthouse and provide consulting services for the building's ground floor sales center.
