The Mall of Africa is the largest single-phase retail development in South Africa. Completed in April 2016, the structure required 230,000 m3 of concrete and 17,000 tons of reinforcing steel. Peter Hassall was commissioned as the project's photographer and has published a 100-page book on the 3-years build.
The book was designed as a showcase for the developers, professionals and subcontractors on the project.
